Stocks limped into the weekend as a string of economic data sparked concerns about slower-than-expected economic growth and sticky inflation.
After closing at an all-time high on Wednesday, the S&P 500 (^GSPC) finished down about 1.7% on the week as a disappointing outlook from Walmart (WMT) and concerns about inflation took center stage. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) fell about 2% as the Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) led the losses, falling nearly 3%...Story continues
