US stocks opened Thursday’s trading session on mixed footing as the US launched a second wave of military strikes on Iran near the Strait of Hormuz, while tech earnings boosted confidence in the AI trade.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) declined 0.6%, while the benchmark S&P 500 (^GSPC) and tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) bounced around the flat line.
