(Reuters) - Companies from Indonesia and the United States on Wednesday signed 11 preliminary deals worth $38.4 billion in Washington D.C., the Indonesian government said in a Thursday statement, ahead of a planned tariff deal between the two countries.
The memorandums of understanding included potential investments in the mining, energy, agriculture, textile and technology sectors, according to the statement.
